We discuss our thoughts on the performance of Alden Ehrenreich and how it compares to Harrison Ford. The film was the long awaited and much anticipated culmination of what the Marvel set in motion in 2008 with Iron Man.  We discuss whether or not we think it lived up to the insane hype, and whether or not we think it met our expectations. We discuss Thanos and how we felt he did as the "big bad" of the entire Marvel Cinematic Universe. We discuss our thoughts on all the other characters, of which there were many. We talk about if the film was able to hold interest while having so many characters. We even discuss our thoughts on that ending at length and discuss where we think the MCU goes from here.

On paper, it seems like this had the potential to be an awful film, but we and many other were pleasantly surprised. We discuss what the film did right and things we think it could have done better. We discuss the cast as well as the plot and how it compares to the original Jumanji.

Join us as we discuss the film The Disaster Artist. The film about the making of The Room, the famous cult-classic "so bad it's good movie" starring and produced by Tommy Wiseau and his friend Greg Sestero.  We are both long time friends of The Room, and we discuss our thoughts on seeing the behind the scenes production. We also discuss our thoughts on the performances of James Franco (who we feel is deserving of an Academy Award Nomination), Dave Franco, Seth Rogen, and the surprisingly star-filled supporting cast. We even discuss how this movie had more heart than we were expecting and was frankly a better movie than we were expecting.

Join as we discuss the low-budget Canadian indie film from 2015 called Turbo Kid. The film is set in a post-apocalyptic wasteland of 1997, which obviously means the film is chock-full of 80s references and homages especially the synthesizer heavy soundtrack and the costumes. We discuss our thoughts on the nostalgia as well as our thoughts on the setting and characters. We also discuss the paper thin plot and what we think of the film's ridiculous gore. We discuss why we think the film works, even though it may not be an objectively good film.

Marvel brought in comedic director Taika Waititi, most known for the film What We Do in the Shadows, for Thor, which means the film has a drastically different tone than many films within the MCU. We discuss the more comedic tone and our thoughts on it. We also discuss our thoughts on all of the returning characters and the new characters, including Jeff Goldblum as The Grandmaster. We discuss our thoughts on the villain Hela, played by the wonderful Cate Blanchett, and we discuss the areas we thought the film could have improved.
