Join as we discuss the low-budget Canadian indie film from 2015 called Turbo Kid. The film is set in a post-apocalyptic wasteland of 1997, which obviously means the film is chock-full of 80s references and homages especially the synthesizer heavy soundtrack and the costumes. We discuss our thoughts on the nostalgia as well as our thoughts on the setting and characters. We also discuss the paper thin plot and what we think of the film's ridiculous gore. We discuss why we think the film works, even though it may not be an objectively good film.

Join us as we discuss the newest film within the Marvel Cinematic Universe, Thor:Ragnarok. Marvel brought in comedic director Taika Waititi, most known for the film What We Do in the Shadows, for Thor, which means the film has a drastically different tone than many films within the MCU. We discuss the more comedic tone and our thoughts on it. We also discuss our thoughts on all of the returning characters and the new characters, including Jeff Goldblum as The Grandmaster. We discuss our thoughts on the villain Hela, played by the wonderful Cate Blanchett, and we discuss the areas we thought the film could have improved.

Join us as we discuss what we consider one of the best horror films of 2017, IT. The film is a remake of a film from 1990, and both are adapted from a very popular Stephen King novel. We discuss how the films compare to each other, and even discuss our thoughts on the adaption. We discuss our thoughts on the performances of all the child actors, as well as Bill Skarsgard who played the creature Pennywise. We even discuss our thoughts on some of the decisions made and talk about areas we think the film could have improved. We discuss what it is we love so much about this film. We discuss how the film is able to do fan service right without feeling like it's pandering, unlike many other films aimed at geeks *cough* The Big Bang Theory. We discuss our thoughts on all the main characters and how even though they are interesing characters, they're still terrible people. Join us as we discuss the sequel to the cult classic film Tron. The film is titled Tron: Legacy and was released in 2010, 28 years after the original Tron. We discuss our thoughts on the plot, which we thought was much too convuluted for the intended audience. We discuss the new characters, as well as the performances by Garrett Hedlund, Olivia Wilde, and Jeff Bridges. We discuss the amazing visuals and how each Tron film has moved cinema forward, and we also discuss the fantastic soundtrack which was done by electronic music superstars Daft Punk.
